Moscow International Biennale for Young Art

DEADLINE:1 March 2020

From 13 July to 13 September 2020 the Moscow International Biennale for Young Art will take place in Moscow. The main program of the Biennale is shaped by the expert council on the basis of the applications open call.

The Main Space of the Museum of Moscow is reserved for curatorial projects selected through this open call.

Artists are invited to apply for the site-specific Individual Project that will be exhibited at the front side of the Museum of Moscow.

Criteria

  • All curators aged under 35 years old whose projects include works by solo artists or artist collectives are eligible to apply. Up to 3 projects will be selected.

  • Emerging artists under 35 years old are encouraged to submit open call applications to create three objects of site-specific art for three internal facades of the Museum of Moscow. Applications are open for individual and group projects. 3 projects will be selected.

  • Each candidate is eligible to send multiple applications.

Benefits

The biennial's goals are to bring attention to new names, to support and encourage the creative initiatives of the latest generation of artists and curators, to create the conditions for their public expression and, as a result, to develop the modern art community.

Participants in the project are given the chance to make connections and establish creative engagement with the professional artistic community.
