Art Moves Africa is hiring


Art Moves Africa (AMA) is a not-for-profit initiative working to facilitate the creation of collaborations, the development of networks, the circulation of artworks and ideas, and the enhancement of skills within the African continent. AMA works through travel grants schemes, information sharing, a research program as well as advocacy activities.

AMA is recruiting two new members for its team: a Grants Manager and a Communications Manager.


Do you have strong knowledge of the arts and culture sector in Africa? Do you have good organizational skills? Do you consider yourself part of the IT generation? Are you fluent in both English and French? Are you an autonomous individual who is comfortable working online with a team based in different locations?

Both positions are part-time, remote and scheduled to begin in November 2019.


The Grants Manager will be responsible for administering AMA’s mobility grants program (receiving and pre-selecting applications; coordinating the selection process; administering grants).

The Communications Manager will be in charge of developing AMA’s communications strategy and managing its various communications tools, online and in print.
