International Dylan Thomas PrizeDEADLINE:
Launched in 2006, the annual Swansea University International Dylan Thomas Prize is one of the most prestigious awards for young writers, aimed at encouraging raw creative talent worldwide. It celebrates and nurtures international literary excellence.
The prize will be awarded to the single author, who in the opinion of the Judges, has written the best eligible: commercially published original volume of English language poetry, collection of short fictional stories, fictional novel or novella, radio script or screen play.
Entries are to be submitted by International and UK publishers on behalf of eligible authors.
The GBP £30,000 International Dylan Thomas Prize is awarded to the best eligible published literary work in the English language, written by an author aged 39 or under.
The winner will be announced at the final awards ceremony in Swansea, Wales on Thursday 14 May 2020.
