Communication Coordinator at Mophradat


Mophradat is looking to hire a dedicated Communication Coordinator to join their team. The position is part-time, flexible, and working remotely.


  • Fluent in spoken and written (including typing) of Arabic and English – this is non-negotiable
  • Knowledge of and interest in the arts and culture field of the Arab world
  • Having an understanding of the role of the non-profit sector
  • Proficient use of social media and other communication tools
  • Substantial professional experience writing press releases & other relevant communication
  • Proficiency in design and publishing software is an asset
  • Pleasant, responsible, and punctual communicator


  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audiences
  • Writing, editing, and distributing content, including newsletters, publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, and other material that communicates the organisation’s activities
  • Managing Mophradat social media tools (Facebook and Instagram profile), including regular posting and answering to messages
  • Updating the mailing list with new contacts
  • Contributing to press and promotion for special events
  • Maintaining records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics
  • Maintaining organized communication files using the archiving system with the Administration and Production Coordinator
